Nutrition Counseling for Wellness, Weight, & Health Concerns

Weight Concerns:
Dieting for weight loss doesn’t work in the long term. And, in fact, severe dietary restriction can lead to disordered eating and/or even more weight gain! Using a “Non-Diet” and mindfulness approach, Sheri helps her clients achieve and maintain a “healthy weight” for their genetic body type.

Embracing the philosophy of “Health At Every Size” (HAES), Sheri focuses on balanced eating, joyful physical activity, and regular self-care behaviors for her clients and their families. Depending on her client’s history and needs, nutrition counseling sessions may include work on intuitive eating, meal planning, food label reading, grocery shopping, time management, stress management, and/or the parent-child feeding relationship.

Health & Wellness Concerns:
As a Registered Dietitian, Sheri can provide basic nutrition education for health promotion and disease prevention or Medical Nutrition Therapy to help treat existing medical or psychological conditions. Some of her areas of expertise include:
